My musical education started at about 6 or 7 years old when i got introduced to flute, piano and keyboards, and despite thoroughly disliking being in a harmony orchestra as a klarinet player, i picked up valuable listening skills that came in very handy later on. I was self taught on keys and later on on soprano sax which i am hoping to master a bit more. I have been experimenting with different temporary bands on piano or keyboards, but my real leap came when i got my roland jv 1010 hooked up to an ancient atari 1040st and started to build some funky tunes.. now i am equipped with a few more tools, and am using sample drums, the vocabulary of the synth, and adding bits of sax and vocals (even though my voice isn't great). I have developed a good sense for harmony extending from jazz standards to funk and popular instrumental.. I am hoping to develop even more of my own sound and have been able to produce the music for an amateur production movie a few years ago.(thriller called 'de ruil') which was a great learning experience. My deepest wish is to produce catchy songs in a studio environment composing the format for great music that would appeal to a wide audience. (who doesn't?) I defenitly feel that it's an awsome way to communicate that vibe i believe i can get across...
