Many Moons Ago Video and Artwork
May 15, 2007
1
“Many Moons Ago” artwork is copyright 2007 by Donald W. Larson, and used with his written permission. I met Mr. Larson while looking for artwork for my song "Many Moons Ago" and came across this photo. He granted permission for me to use it to represent my song to which I am very grateful! Little did I know the capabilities of Mr. Larson until he requested permission to use my song for a video, which I of course granted in return. This video is the result of our collaboration, and an example of two paths destined to cross. We both hope you enjoy the video! Thanks again Don! :) Peace! Chuck
Taylor's Song
Mar 19, 2007

I wrote “Baby in Arms” in 1978, twenty-one years before Taylor was even born. And it was not until 1985 that this lullaby even had its name. Then the piece was tucked away … not forgotten, but as we look back, saved for a special time and place. The first and only time I played this song in public was on August 13, 2000. It was then that I realized the gift Taylor had given me, and now others, as I share this dedication and song 7 years later. Sometime in about 1995 I became discouraged as a songwriter and guitarist. I put down my guitar and I stopped even trying to write any music. When Taylor’s Mom and Grandmother asked me to play a song at Taylor’s funeral, I wasn’t sure how I would be able to do it. I hadn’t touched a guitar in about 5 years. I didn’t think I could learn a specific song in just a matter of days. I didn’t have the confidence anymore. Then I remembered “Baby in Arms”, and everything became so clear … the song I wrote twenty-two years before, and had tucked away, was written for this little girl, for this day, for her family. To this day, I know that God guided me and gave me the strength to play “Baby in Arms”, all the way through, on that day. I now knew it was no coincidence that I wrote it so many years before Taylor was even born. The gift that Taylor left me with, and which I now share with all of you who hear this song, is this: If you are gifted with a talent for songwriting, don’t look for the immediate results or rewards. Don’t ever give up, don’t ever stop writing, and always keep searching deep within for inspiration … because you just may not know why that song is written … it may mean something very special at some later date … even more than 20 years from now. I would like to thank Taylor's family for allowing me to post her song. Though the copyright is mine, the song belongs to Taylor and her family. I would also like to thank my sister Nancy for putting my jumbled words into a beautiful tribute to a little girl who changed my life and lives in my heart and in my music forever.
Meeting Beth Davidson

I was fortunate to meet the Awesome Beth Davidson earlier this month. She is a charming lady and one sweetheart! Her talent can be heard here on Soundclick (She's my Top Friend on this profile) and she is very charismatic. I have known her for a little over a year and it was so great to finally talk face to face. She is one of my favorite female vocalists...anywhere...and her CD is amazing! She takes you on an emotional rollercoaster with her heartfelt songs and I really recommend her CD!!!!! I got her to autograph mine while I was there. Meeting her is a memory that I will cherish forever! Thanks Beth! You truly Rock!
Beyond the Valley
Mar 11, 2007
"Beyond the Valley" was written in loving memory of my grandparents and is from my "Children of Light" album which was completed in 1994. The album will be for sale in it's entirety here on Soundclick as soon as the rest of it is remastered. I have to divide my time between my solo projects and my band, so I do what I can! :)
QSO
Mar 11, 2007
This is a song that I have had in my mind for a long time and finally got around to getting it done. QSO stands for Quasi Stellar Object, in other words "Quasar" and the cosmos have interested me for many years. "QSO" is a Guitar/Electronica Progressive Rock song with a few different movements. I would like to thank Angel, Courtney V., J-Baby, & Miss Darcee for adding voices here and there throughout the song. This is my first song combining the synths with the guitars.

Heh Chuck just thought I'd stop by & give a listen to some of your newer music. I'm sort of getting used to it but still keep playing the old cd. Remember if you're home tonight that the candy is for you to pass out to the kids not eat it. Tell Frank I said HI & you both try to behave yourselves. Hugs the old Canuck
