The Downfalls are a San Francisco indie-rock trio that wraps the sweat-dripping riffage of post-punk powerpop around a creamy melodic center, all glazed over with a thick swarm-of-angry-bees-in-your-face fuzz bass and tom-tom fury. The band has been honored as a Featured Artist on MP3.com (where they have been downloaded over 40,000 times) and has brought their high-energy "RAWK" show to stages throughout the Bay Area, including recent performances at the Bottom of the Hill, 12 Galaxies, The Elbo Room, The Rockit Room, The Red Devil Lounge and many others.
