My name is Derek, and I'm 20 years old. I have a 4 1/2 month old son named Brian (yes, a young father lol.) It's weird to say that cuz I never thought I'd be a father at 20 yrs. old but that's the way life sometimes goes I guess. I've been going out with my girlfriend for about 2 1/2 years and she is the mother of my son. We're both still living at home, trying to work and go to school while raising a kid and it's tough lol.
I've been making music for a good couple of years and I think I've gotten a little better over time, but there's alot I have to learn. And since I'm a student, I don't really have the resources I would like such as music programs, etc. So I have to make do with what I've got. I basically use Fruity Loops with a bunch of VST Instrument plug-ins like MagnusChoir, CamelSpace, Cameleon 5000 and Syntheway Strings.
