First of all, I want to say thanks for checkin out my page, I appreciate the interest. But anyway, this C-Rey, artist/producer/engineer for Stash House Entertainment. I started production as I approached my teen years. Before then I was always interested in making my own music, but didnt pursue it until I got my first keyboard. As you should know, you cant make a beat with just a keyboard and nothing else. So as soon as we got a computer, thats when I wanted to try to take it a step further. When I got into the computer, I started to look more into programs that I could make beats on. MTV Music Generator would was the first program I tried and it quickly became my program of choice for the moment. Months after, somebody I met said I should start using fruity loops. As 2000, got closer, I was pretty much settled in with fruity loops along with 1500 extra sounds from drum packs to sounds I took from keyboards I could get my hands on. Soon after, quality was my main focus and later on helped me start making mainstream quality beats. As you all know, it didnt work just like that, but with a year of working on it, I was able to step my game up and grow into the producer I am today. Currently, I still use FL for most of my production along with Acid Pro, a keyboard and MPC2000XL.
