my first demo cd of original songs was done in a studio by a very excellent musician(2009 november)....he does cross over work with jc hartsfield on very similar recording equipment...we knocked off a vinette of 6 of my originals for a producer in atlanta who i jammed with a while back and he wanted to publish my original vocals and guitar acompaniment; the funny thing is the demo has created a monster...i have given it to various musicians and asked them to put their own spin on "bass guitar", "mandolin", "drums", and "harmonica" into a track and burn it...it has been very interesting, their personal improvisations i never fathomed when writing, singing, and playing these originals written over about 35 yrs...i am putting the demo on this site...i want anyone to have fun with it...and thanks to the edwin robinson trio in their guitar store near atlanta for stimulating me to record what we jammed on in their soundproof guitar room...

this is an older yamaha eterna EF-15....i am doing some repair work on a similar guitar...the owner of the guitar i am repairing is a mariachi player from mexico who has me teaching his kids guitar and he is taking some lesson also(his fingerstyle technique is fabulous but he wants to learn more chords and some of the strums i use((without a pick))...i now have 6 bilingual students, as i have 4 yrs of spanish classes behind me, and we are doing beatles and eagles tunes in spanish, and some spanish songs , like reik's noviembre sin tu, in english...
the most fun was the demo actually impressed my 33 yr old daughter!! that doesn't happen too many times in a lifetime! she got feedback in hawaii from where she is taking singing lessons and they all thought it had a johnny cash sound(we must take these compliments whenever, however they come)....i dubbed the demo "the greatest music you have never heard"; tongue-in-cheek, of course...please be the judge when i lay it down on this site
