At last a new one - after a year! Check out 'No way to run your life'
Completely off my normal blues stuff, but it is kind of relaxing. Written as projected 'library music', like the stuff they play behind the film on 'Countryfile' for example in the UK. Note - they only use about 30 seconds of stuff to play behind film, but I kept going for 2 minutes to be able to stick it up on Soundclick! Ha, ha. DM

Hi there!
Just finished 'Autumn Leaves'. We originally had the idea of putting on a bass track and additional guitars and percussion, but I kind of like it with just one acoustic and Jacq on vocals. Attempting to do a song covered by the late great Eva Cassidy was somewhat of a challenge.................

Have been clearing out the hard drive..
Check out June Caresse and myself doing one of her songs - never recorded. I guess you had to be there!

First of all many thanks to the many hundreds of you who have listened to the stuff! That is nice..
I have put most up in Cover versions as I don't want to tee anybody off - for example: who owns the copyright now for stuff like The Entertainer and Crow Jane??
I've just stuck up another few that I came across deep in my hard drive. Hope you enjoy or not as the case may be!!
Still working on new stuff when the other suspects who make up 'Self Laid Traps' have more time to record and have to spend less time working like mad to bring money in for their families.
Times are hard here in the UK, as I am sure they are everywhere.
