I was invited tonight to the "ASCAP POP MUSIC AWARDS" at the KODAK THEATRE in Hollywood. It was fun! I'm just a new member with ASCAP this year, because of my produced song "You're my shining light" they accepted me for membership! I will try to take my song and writting to the next level! I came close to signing with Motown records in mid 80's, My singer was with the "Drifters" and was GREAT!! I was young and dumb and blew the deal! I didn't write any more songs for 20 years! My new wife of 5 years kept pushing me....finally in 2006...I had a song I wrote about her proffessionally produced, arranged and recorded..."You're my shining light" has both vocal as well as this instrumental track...Let me know if you want me to add the vocal track also?
