Well, another year...lots of laughs...lots of tears, i suppose this is what life is about, blending through the years, fermenting us as we age...perhaps it is best to take pleasure in everything. Happy...well...happy Christmas and Chinese equivalent, and New Year, yours and mine....perhaps we should all adapt the Mayan calender once it comes to a close, start fresh, then we will all do fine. ps Do you watch anime?

Hi Lan, How are you? i can never see when you log on....i wonder if you do anymore....i really enjoyed your letter, thank you....i sent you another one too....sigh....long long ago i had hoped to attract other "mice" over here...lol....but "nothing want to say" sounds much like "beware of big cat" :) ....i could tell you this story about a 2nd grader and a chance kick of a soccer ball that changed a world but i suppose the point is moot ;) "Moot" is a good word to learn it means open for argument or debatable ...at least we are friends, that is all that really matters :D i hope everything works out well....and the new coming Spring is wonderful please stay in touch! :D

Hiya Lan! i hope you are enjoying Spring festival.... the US post office issued these special stamps in January celebrating the Lunar Year of the Ox, they look really cool ....astrology is so interesting....do you follow it...or feng shui? Anyway, i wanted to get the story i spoke of finished this Winter, since i couldn't last....in fact i think it was really already Spring when i wrote the first draft... i could tell right away that this was something i would want to share with everyone, but it was thinking about your severe winter and what you wrote and whether or not you regretted even knowing me (since i like to try to be a real friend) that made me remember this story

Hi Lan, Happy Chinese New Year!!! are you enjoying Spring festival? sorry if what i wrote before about the distribution of funds from the Chinese government economics is way off, i know so little about your culture and your world...do you get raises? If not, what alternative rewards motivates one to excel? So curious... i hope all is well and you are having much fun with family and friends... Happy Year of the OX! :D

HI Lan, i was reading the other day that your government intends to redirect billions of dollars that normally would be used to buy foreign debt back into China to help deflect a slowing world economy....this could equate to new roads, transportation systems, better buildings, new computers in the classroom, etc...,etc...maybe even a raise? doubt that last though ;) anyway, just thinking about you while i was reading it...do enjoy the improvements, lucky! :D

HI Lan, How are you? i see you haven't logged in a while, so i hope everything is well in your world...these next two weeks are big for most countries as we celebrate the most Christian holiday and then the New Year....i wonder, if to compensate, China doesn't celebrate something at this time of year too? Very Curious.... Merry Christmas! =)

Hi Lan, How are you? You know i'm worried the other parts of my letter didn't go through, because they never showed up as being sent....you know you could always leave a comment...lol...hmmmm, do you know how? (it's easy you just click on "add a comment" at the end of the comments section on a page and then insert your message in the empty box that appears at the bottom) ;) anyway i'm going to send the other parts again, now that i think i know what to do (erase my cookies before each send) so hopefully you can read the rest of my letter, if you haven't already. Hope your weekend is wonderful... :D

Lan….it was so good to hear from you :D i understand about having much to say but not the words…for me it was opposite, after you asked about this Economic crisis, suddenly, i had a flurry of words…that didn’t say much…lol…letter with ”many parts” coming soon ;) i hope the Fall season is treating you well… …Take Care :D

Hi Lan, i was hoping to hear from you. i wonder what you are doing and how you feel? Such as, are you too busy? or maybe you don't really want to be e-mail pals? ;) You know, if you prefer we could always send comments back and forth this way, Mrs. "Nothing Want to Say" ...lol ...you must know that is improper English...hmmmm? Anyway, i hope everything is great in your world :D

Hi Lan, i fear it's not going to happen...summer school is about to begin and i just didn't get around to it, not only that it's plain to see that apparently by your message you don't want to talk to anybody anyway. It's unfortunate, you were one of the first people to add me back when i still had illusions about what might happen at Sound Click. i had these hopes of really getting to know people around the world, really correspond, so naturally i was excited about the prospect of getting to know a girl in China.

i realized early on you didn't want to speak to me, but one night your blog got me thinking about my worst winter, and about this mouse who came into my house that i couldn't get rid of, then i began to wonder it that is what i was to you...a mouse you'd rather not have in your house (LOL!!!)...i know there are countless reasons why people don't want to talk, but i was curious as to what yours might actually be, so i had planned on pestering you (like that little mouse pestered me) wishing to see if i could pull you out...but i've been learning lessons lately about wishes...maybe it's best this way. ...i think the mouse story is worth sharing with everyone (provided i write it right) so if i actually do one day i'll certainly let you know. Be Happy Lan

Hi Lan, Sometimes in the winter seasons of my life, when it's so cold and i feel remote, i close my eyes and retreat inside seeking warmth through the solitude of my soul, it is in there that i'm free and from within spread my wings and dream, perceiving meanings to the secrets deep inside and feel at least for a time...satisfied; this is when i can see Spring even in Winter's season... I've never lived through a winter as long, and cold, and dark as the one China is going through, please excuse me if i don't really understand, but one thing i do know...it won't be long before Spring, then maybe you can complain about all the rain... ;-) Greetings from America

Hi Candy i'm glad you added me...i was hoping you would...as the winter winds down and rolls into spring we get to see life reborn again and again and through these cyclical seasons we see life's cycle so much more clearly and through this perhaps better understand and gain true appreciation... thanks for the add...to not be known is to feel cold.
