Continuation #3:
Finally Temp J - in the same way that I makes me think of Mars, J makes me think of something altogether more lovely and appealing... I could be tempted to go for the clichéd simplicity of Heaven here, but being an avid non-believer, I would feel too conflicted to accept this.
Keeping in with the planetary theme, I was then drawn to Venus - in the way that Mars is the aggressive Male God of War (greek, roman and norse gods don't bother me!) I felt this track pulled me towards Venus, the beautiful but equally deadly Goddess of Gardens and Spring time (later to be known more as the goddess of love) - this track makes me think of growth, of rebirth, and happiness and many other things... but again the discord plays it's part - the warning: to love Venus too much was to go mad - to be blinded by her beauty so much that you forgot about everything else.
So for this track I would suggest "the Birth Of Venus".
Okay - I promise that was the end of my rant! ;0)

Continuation #2.
Now we move on to Temp I - this one is a little harder - as I listen I'm hearing the sounds of metal, bubbling magma, construction & industry - I also get a sense of questing and exploring - with some chords of discovery, which soften slightly into something a bit more relaxed and peaceful, but full of repeated wonder and amazement.
My imagination works in a slightly off kilter fashion, allowing me to reach conclusions that others might not agree with - but I can help feeling this track is about Mars - the heat and burning fires of industry make me think of the Red Planet - our desire to consider life on Mars makes me think of the exploration - the wonderment of discovery after discovery - and once again the discord works superbly because anything discovered will be so unlike anything experienced on Earth that it may not be beautiful in the traditional terms, but appealing in the contemporary way - "THE RED PLANET" has to be my choice here...

continuation #1
Listening to all 3 tracks, I get the same sense of wonderous scale - these tracks evoke huge environments... huge worlds... huge spaces and the music carries you through them on a virtual journey...
because of this, I would personally have named the albulm something along the lines of "symphony of a discordant universe" - each track forming a seperate movement - some tracks containing their own movements too...
Track H makes me think of a great plain - not filled winth wondering buffalo, but instead stars, migrating gasses instead of waterfowl, comets instead of predatory lions - however the bell makes me think of the passage of time, so I would call this the "Plains of Time" - time also allows you to visualise the growth of space and the time needed to travel through the stars.
MORE TO FOLLOW! (of course ;0) )

Hi William - just wanted to stop by and say thanks for leaving the note on my page - I love your work and had a think about the question you posed...
unfortunately I don't do short comments (actually I rarely comment, but as you asked...), so bare with me on this.
my first thought is about the entire albulm - listening to th three un-named tracks, I get a real feel of jarring harmony - sort of the way that some sounds, when taken individualy and played simultaneously with another, jar against each other - pulling your concentration in two directions in a way that doesn't work... well I feel that your Temp tracks have this same quality - but in a way that the overall sound is completely organised and structured, allowing your mind to hear and see past the conflicting elements and listen to the whole - it's like looking at two flashing lights on a christmas tree that don't work together, but take a step backwards and you have a bigger thing that does.

Hello William how are you doing? Just noticed you're also into bicycling. Me too! I live near the sea and love cycling along the seafront. (It's about 8 miles to work and I cycle along listening to music) I was searching for something on google and came up with a comment by you that you posted in April about my music. How did I miss that? I'm very flattered but I can't find the full comment. Where is it posted? Hope you're well and that your worlds of music and sci-fi continue in such a beautiful way ;0) EJ x (P.S. I am reading The Illustrated Man at the moment - fantastic book)
