Importance of presentation

You can have the greatest flow, lyrics, cadence etc as an artist but if you don't have the right presentation it is like throwing it all down the drain. Packaging of your cd, mixing, production are all important parts of presentation. How many times have you been handed a cd with poor graphic design or even just writing with a magic mark and passed on some possibly good music? How many times have you heard a whack beat and turned the song off withouth listening to the artist. Maybe you heard a hot song but the mixing was so bad you could hear the lyrics because the beat was to loud.
