The latest song I’ve written Out of the Blue I started about a year and a half ago. I imagined myself a soldier in the Ukrainian army on the front lines, facing Russian troops, and did not know that my lover died in our apartment building from Indiscriminate artillery fire or bombs. She came to see me for one last kiss goodbye at services. Though neither of us was exactly clear on what was happening the sense of familiarity was startlingly real. which is the reason for some of the lyrics indicating do you know me do I know your name? A real rarity I had far more lyrics than I could use.
