Why We Use the KJV Tuesday, Apr 28 @ 12:04 PM
May 9, 2020
My message I have today has a few quick points
1 John 4:1Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they
are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
There are many deceivers out there and more now than ever because we
are so close to rapture. When you encounter a person and they say
something you know is against what the Scriptures says, that is not
the Holy Spirit.
Today many opposed promoting the KJV over
other english translations.
1st I can say, one who gets defensive when you promote the
purest version in your language obtainable to you, it's not
the Holy Spirit.
2nd I can say the versions further translated from KJV in english are watered down and manipulated & I'll tellyou how.
Romans 13:1:
KJV: 1 Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is
no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.
ESV:13 Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For
there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been
instituted by God.
see how they take from leaning on God's authority, to leaning on
man's authority.
Ex. 2. Acts 8:37
KJV: And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou
mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the
Son of God.
This very important verse is removed from all these versions:
ESV, NIV, NLT, ASV, NWT & GNB
That alone should be a red flag!
Another example is compared to the NASB
KJV says: Matt. 23:9"& call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father,
which is in heaven.
So why did NASB change 1 Corinthians 4:15 to
15 For if you were to have countless tutors in Christ, yet you would
not have many fathers, for in Christ Jesus I became your father
through the gospel.
from KJV: 1 Corinthians 4:15
For though ye have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet have ye
not many fathers: for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the
gospel.
That's not all, KJV says:
Rev. 3:20Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and
he with me.
but NLT says:20 Look! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal together as
friends.
"Sup with him" is referring to the fact that the Word of God is our
nourishment. They demote meanings & the metaphor is misinterpreted.
In the KJV it says
Luke 4:8:& Jesus answered & said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.
in the NIV/NASV they remove "get thee behind me Satan"
The NIV translation removes 64,000 words!
Isaiah 14:12 says:
How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how
art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!
in the NIV it changes it to:
Isaiah 14:12
How you have fallen from heaven,
morning star, son of the dawn!
You have been cast down to the earth,
you who once laid low the nations!
this is a HUGE misrepresentation because Jesus is referred to as "the
Morning Star" Once in Rev 2:28 & another is Rev. 22:16
that should be a HUGE red flag, they basically gave a name for Jesus,
to satan!!!
KJV says in Matt. 26:64
Jesus saith unto him, Thou hast said: nevertheless I say unto you,
Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of
power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.
The word "hereafter's" definition IS: FROM NOW ON
What does the morning star do?
Matt. 24:27
For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto
the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
if you still are foggy in understanding these things I have an
explaination of the signs in the Suun & Moon, Stars and clouds, then
you can visit my youtube channel where I explain it with scripture
