"Stay Afloat" Embrace the Race's 3rd online release effortlessly turns over a new leaf.The genres of choice include: slow rock, ambient, chill-out, electro and Asian music. Stay Afloat includes easy -to-follow tracks like "Music to my Ears," "Bright Shiny Day," which are clean-cut and distinguished. There are also vibrant beats as in "Sky Falling." and "Rainy Season," which get the toes tapping.
While peeling away layers from the individual tracks one realizes, there is a progression and dominant harmony to each melodic track. Each song though instrumental, communicates the beauty and essence of staying one's course amid peril. On the vast ocean, we remain the captains of our own destinies. This album is clearly my most accessible and creative release. Why not set sail today. . .

BRIEF BIO:
Eric is a keyboardist/musician best known as Embrace the Race for his online releases and electronic albums. Eric was raised in the Western USA and got interested in music due in part to the explosion of digital media. He collected over 700 CDs within an 7 year period. He has a love of Electronic keyboards. Eric's first project was “Folding Eye Lids”, under which he released 4 techno albums from 1998-2008 including: “Folding Eye Lids (1999),” “Spirit of Music (2001),” “Probing the Void (2004),” and “Sea of Chairs (2008).” It was an experimental period which lasted a decade. Eric began Embrace the Race as a solo project in 2010, adopting the name because of its’ positive ring. Only later did he realize it was also a line of horse racing apparel.
In 2011 he reached a mile-stone by releasing an all new album “From the Heart.” Embrace the Race has gone on to enormous creativity in releasing an additional album in 2013 called“Stay Afloat.” Available now on Bandcamp!
