I have been writing and producing hip hop music since 2002. I have always had a natural talent at both picking up things easily and at storytelling, so putting my ideas into music is a gift that I continue to strive to use and improve. I tend to write music about personal situations -- some of my best work comes from those times -- and it tends to be fueled my mood and state of mind at the time.
By day I do web programming and plot and scheme on the next big idea to put money in my pockets. In my downtime, I do music. I have no expectations of making it big in the business in it's current state, but I believe my talents will not only touch and influence listeners, but it will also be something they can either relate to, think about, or just sit back and enjoy.
Like my music tastes, I'm pretty open to new ideas and experiences, and I'm pretty receptive to talent in general. And even though I love making hip hop music, I love writing and listening to real R&B just as much, so if that's what you do, I'm always happy to listen. Unfortunately, of my many blessings, the gift to sing was not one of them.
I'm also one half of the Established Dons, along with Rah Scrilla. In general, I'm more forward-thinking while he's more of an "in-the-moment" artist (though we do crossover), so we complement each other well.
