After 6 successful mixtapes, and 4 longs years of grinding, its time to take the Bullyin the Streets movement to a whole new and exciting level. Bullyin’ the Streets vol. # 5 will be our first retail ready product. We’ll have all original productions, including high quality mixing and high quality duplication. If you don’t believe it a movement, do your homework. We have been recognized as a successful mixtape compilation in publications such as the highly used Connex List, sonicbids.com and Indie Bible. We have an actively expanding myspace community with nearly 10,000 friends, frequently listened to music page on www.soundclick.com/bullyinthestreetsmixtaperadio and a website on the way. Bullyin’ the Streets it’s a movement… www.myspace.com/bullyinthestreets www.soundclick.com/bullyinthestreetsmixtaperadio www.soundclick.com/bullyinthestreets ((for artist to select production)) thestreetcodeent@gmail.com ((e-mail subject “bullyin the streets”)) PLEASE FWD ALL QUESTION NOT ANSERED IN MY F.A.Q.’s to thestreetcodeent@gmail.com Producers: Will I get production credit? Yes. Every track will included who the beat was produced by and how they can be contacted. Example: Lil Yung PoJo – Watch Me Cake produced by oz2grams productions ( www.myspace.com/oz2gramsbeatz ) As a producer do I get a percentage / payment? We asked that participating producers agree to an amended non-exclusive lease with the Streetcode Ent, very similar to the non-exclusive leasing option many producers already have for there free beats the only difference will be your production company allowing Streetcode Ent. the use of your production for Bullyin’ the Streets Volume # 5 with the abilty to place under 2,000 units in stores for sell. Just as in most non-exclusive leasing agreements stipulate, if more than 2,000 units are in fact sold, we will provide reasonable compensation. It will also be your production company’s responsibility to follow threw with participating artist compliance to your non-exclusive leasing agreement. We will make it very clear to artist that they are not to put Bullyin’ the Streets material on their album with out purchasing a lease for your production company directly. Any more specific questions about leasing and licenses can be sent to thestreetcodeent@gmail.com and if I can’t answer them I’ll fwd your question to my entertainment attorney for clarification. Are you selling the cds? Yes, I’m excided to announce Bullyin’ the streets will be distributed nation-wide by two different well know industry independent distribution companies. Distribution is only half the battle, axially serving the right stores and selling them is the other half we ask that participating artist and producers alike really get behind the project and let people know within your fan network that they can go out and pick up some of you work at Fye, best buy, circuit city, target, etc…For every artist that e-mail’s me a receipt w/ proof of purchase of a Bullyin the Streets CD… I’ll mail you 2 store ready copies to give to a friend to promote. Take a picture of the CD in stores w/ a camera phone and I’ll post it on a few website and myspace. How do I submit my track or tracks? E-mail your production company info as you would like it to appear on soundclick and the cd itself along with the beat in high resolution WAV Or MP3 thestreetcodeent@gmail.com subject Bullyin the Streets. I will also except zshare or sendnow files if your beats files are large… LET’s MAKE IT HAPPEN…THANKS IN AVANCE FOR YOUR TIME…
