Belief and the unseen voices. About a month back I was trawling through the classified section of vimeo looking for a soundtrack job to do to get experience. The first one I found was belief. A documentary miniseries. This documentary was by a former Jehovah's witness Mani GarcĂa and it deals with the issues experienced with leaving your faith and all the things that come with it behind, it also charts his and other Jehovah's witnesses experiences with the faith and things to do with it. This documentary miniseries is still going on and continuing and deals with some deep issues that come with individuals struggles with their belief and never does it limit itself by just talking about this relevant to the Jehovah's witnesses faith. The series is still in its infancy but the clip I scored a soundtrack for features an interview with a current Jehovah's witness who's identity is kept anonymous to avoid being forced out of his faith for talking to a traitor to the faith (Mani). Because of this it's largely textual but the words on the screen (and in my opinion) the soundtrack behind it mean that no emotional power is lost. Sometime in the near future the clip I scored for (called unseen whispers) will be uploaded onto this page: https://beliefdocumentary.com/healfree_AList.html . Currently you can watch the clip with a temp track over. My song sounds nothing like the temp track because I was asked to write an ambient piece for it and that's what I did so don't be confused when you hear my piece and find it totally dissimilar. You can find the song I did on my soundclick artist page it's called bodiless whispers. And I hope you will take the time to check it and this amazing documentary out.
