“Inta'Lek just dropped one of the most solid bodies of work I've heard from a local artist in a while. I might step on some toes, but I'm going to be real.. Inta'lek joins the convo as one of the dopest emcee's out with his new project "The Compilation." He's giving raw, unpolished, true-to-form hip hop.. His lyrics are often belted with the same energy as an early D.O.C., who is native to Dallas, Tx. He limits his Screwed Up click references to a bare minimum, so the idea that he's "trying to fit in" is empty. From start to finish, "The Compilation" gives a great blend of lyricism and power, and keeps it's momentum where it can be called on command. From the fiery intros, warning other rappers that he doesn't back down, to heartfelt tear jerkers about his daughter, it becomes clear that Inta'lek is not only in the local hip hop conversation, but also has little to no competition.
