For awhile, like most of us, i have been striving for a purpose. At the same time that I was searching, i can imagine, im like alot of you, esp the musicians. I created. I wrote books, designed web pages, card games, you name it, i created it. And built an impressive catalog along the way and had no way to let the world know I existed...until now. I finally took a chance (cause like a lot people, I was scared that someone would steal my ideas) and created a team, a team of voice actors to voice one of my books. I was blessed with sooooo much talent that I still have to pinch myself every so often. The team consist of former radio personalities, singers, audio directors, actors, musicians, etc. And the part that shocked me the most, they all are helping for free.
People have always said 'it takes money to make money'..well, that is only partially true. Yes, money had to be spent at some point (before we all ever met each other) but i have found that talent and desire can get you just as close to the goal at the end. We have finished chapter 1 and have not had to 'spend' 1 cent. My books have over 3,000 downloads and I have not spent 1 cent. And yes, we are not making money yet but its all in due time.
I have found people who do it because they love to do it and know that it is a chance. A chance that sometimes money could not had bought in the first place. A chance to be in households that probably would have went their entire existence without even knowing of their existence. If all goes as planned, there will be atleast 45 people involved in this project. With today’s numerous social networking, that could lead to explosure that is even predicted, for everyone..so wish us luck ?
