(Get Low) "Blasting In The Club" is strictly a club banger/ goon atheme. You know you have all types of folks that come to the club for all type of reasons rather, chilling & relaxing, networking, partying or whatever the case may be. Bt you also know its never a time though, at a club where somebdy is either, pistol played or shot at/in the club, being on some mo' type ish. Thats why I wrote, recorded & published "Blasting In The Club"! The track/beat was purchased from Rock Solid Ent. They are like a sub-divison(Street Team) for Drummer Squad Ent. Basically a talent recuiter. I've recorded numerious of verses after dropping this Single w/ them as well. The Single alone has well over 20k plays/views! Helloo!! or shall I say Mr.Independent was written & recorded that following Fall around my birthday.(Oct.14) I recored the song w/ Rock Solid Production. Note: I produced this beat as well as writing the lyrics of this song... Rock Solid Production only mixed & mastered my vocals. The song ideal came when I was in a situtation w/ my family & faced w/ what I thought was the lowest point in my career, at that time. I simply wrote what I wanted down & delievered it how I wrote it. This song does state that I would like a woman w/ no kids, own crib bt know if she loving her Paperboi then, thats all I care about..... 'F.A.M.E"
This song is titled "F.A.M.E" bt nt in the form as most are familiar with. The enlarged letters have meaning behind each of them. I wrote this song when I was inprisoned for simply being in the wrong place, at the wrong time. Which in some cases, such as mine, I could've filed a lawsuit against the MPD(Memphis Police Department) for assualt, breaking my Civil Rights & harraishment. The Memphis RedSkins, Im guessing recieved a call about a shooting in my neighborhood I lived in while residing in Memphis,TN(East Memphis to be excate). It was 7/25/07 around 7 p.m. I had just left my mama house & was on making my way to my sister & girlfriend (At that time) house. They both lived in the same area/apartments. I made to Ridgeway & Ridgeway four way, behind the H.R Mall, and a undercover(un-marked police cursier) jump the curb & ran me over, after making a u-turn in the middle of the road without any sirens nor lighting. He had my bike under his cursier, bt still had his weapon(9mm) drawn, pointing it in my face. He then question me, "Where was I going?". I answered, "To my sister & gf house." He told me, "Your lieing & etc." called me out my name serve times & such, you know real police type s***. He later took me back to the scence of the shooting, which later I was told, it was the murder scence of Cerion Owens. SN: "True I have seen him around the school I was attending, at the time, bt NO I didnt murder juvie." They still finger printed me & held me confined for the murder for 72 hours, which in the time I had written half the song, "F.A.M.E". I wrote when I was'nt praying that I won't become part of the "Railroad" fade that has become popular in most cities through the World. I was questioned without a lawyer nor my mother present. Note I was still a juvenile at the time, which violates ALL my Civil Rights in the MOST disrespectful fashion. Which then not even 2 mins. later, the arresting officiers & Homicide Detectives walked right in the next room, which my mother was sitting in & THEN placed us in the same room & question us both AGAIN about my where abouts at the time of the murder. After all of this, I was in a very unstable mindset, which lead to me dropping out of high school that following semister. I then, wrote the rest of the song & recorded it that Fall on Oct.11 as a birthday gift to myself. Due to me going through so much up until that day. I had the police follow me from time to time, which they thought I didnt recognize, bt did. I released the song Jan.1.2009 on Myspace. The song has got plenty respect from streets & homes around America. Im just thankful for that alone, bt still I stride to make everday the best & greatest.
