March 21, 2010 Atlanta, GA/RDPRM/- Warbucks International/Universal Motown Recording released their new hit single “Get Up” by the group Dem Get A Way Boyz- this trio of talented and intuitive song writers, singers, and rappers know how to produce music on a higher level then their counterparts. One good dose of Lil Marco falsetto gives you a got to have it now feeling, and once Kali and Flyy grace the track with their lyrical genius then you are pulled in to the melody of this record and you are hooked, and will find yourself singing the chorus of this super song produced by Kane Beats.
Dem Get A Way Boyz hail from Stone Mountain, Georgia where they grew up in the same neighbor hood and have been making songs together since their earlier days. With similar goals and a want to succeed the group joined forces and has been unstoppable.
Recently coming off the success of their last single “Imma G” ft Hip Hop veteran Killer Mike, which was later remixed to feature Shawty Lo & Bentley Fonzworth; Dem Get A Way Boyz can’t and will not be stopped. Now with a major street, internet buzz and radio play over seas, college radio, internet and Urban Stations such 103.3 &107.9 in Atlanta, Georgia, for their single “Get Up”.
With other new note worthy songs such as “Birthday”, “Fetish” and “She So Fine” ft Roscoe Dash along with their new hit single “Get Up”, that is sure to have every female wanting to Get Up with them, this song is sure to be the hottest song of the summer. Since the leak of the song on to Green Hits last week, “Get Up” has developed wheels of its own, and simply taken off.
Unlike other male group trio’s Dem Get A Way Boyz stand alone, with a true mix of R & B and Hip Hop the group Dem Get A Way boyz is truly in a league of their own. With a true synergy and harmony, their music has quality productions, lyrical content and excellent delivery.

Who are Dem Get A Way Boyz

The Hip-Hop and R&B music game is in need of a change and they are about to received just that in the form of a group by the name of Dem Get-Away-Boyz.
This lyrically talented group consists of Stone Mountain, GA residents, Kali SupaFlyy, LiL Marco and Flyy and have been gaining fans rapidly since the release of their debut single back in the end of 2007 called, “Get-Away” . And like most artist that emerge in this day in time they understood the use of the internet and where able to get a notice worthy buzz on MySpace and YouTube where they hit over 200,000 plays in a short period of time with the hit single Get –Away and in addition to fans they where able to gain the attention of Lamont Norris and Rodney Thomas of Warbucks International who later signed them to a record deal.
Unlike a lot of groups that make a name for them self on the internet, they sometimes can’t get that same buzz on the streets, however this was not the case for these Stone Mountain Natives, once the young girls on the streets of Atlanta, GA saw these heart throbs they where instantly in love with the group, and when the guys realized that they where not your average boy band, but where true lyricist and where able to speak on real life situation through the eyes of a teenager they were hooked as well
Dem Get-A-Way Boyz came together in early 2007. They all grew up around the same area in, and used they to play around in their friend’s studio making random songs for fun.
As the group started to gain more notoriety, well know names started to speak up about the group, including Killer Mike who states, “These guys are hot, they are going to kill everyone in the game now. Pretty Ricky, Brutha, and I15 are other urban boy band groups. Dem Get-A-Way Boyz is going to be the next big act out of Atlanta!
Soon Artist, Producers, Media and Labels where asking about the group and wanting to find out more abot Dem Get-Away-Boyz, and due to the demand Dem Get- Away- Boyz they where able to collaborated with other Atlanta artists and released their first street album, “The Get-A-Way”.
Dem Get-A-Way Boyz, started doing live performances at events, sweet sixteen parties, and clubs etc, and their buzz in the industry professionals started to grow and landed them the opportunity to go into S-Line Studio to record tracks with Atlanta producer, Kane. This is where the number one single “Imma G” and “Get Up” was created.
Upon hearing the single Imma G, Lamont and Rodney deicide this was the song for the streets of Atlanta and released it, the song was an instant success and made such an impact in the streets that labels started calling shortly after.
Through heavy negotiation and consideration Lamont Norris and Rodney Thomas decided to team up with Universal/Motown together they where able to team up and take Dem Get-A-Way Boyz buzz to a national level which allowed them opportunity such as being apart of the Swagger Like Us Tour, that included such names as T.I, Monica, Young Jezzy, Ludacris, and Shawty Lo to name a few, and take part in the Adult Swim Tour as well.
Dem Get A-Way-Boyz, are currently signed to Warbucks International/Universal Motown and are working on their second street album “The Real World: Atlanta” , hosted by Arsonist DJ’s, is coming soon, the lead single will “Get Up” which is already making impact in the clubs of Atlanta, GA.
