The past has ran its course, and showed me true flesh/
The color was unlike the rest/
It was real and untainted from years of experience/
It left me standing looking delirious/
Is this ride over or is this a break/
Or is this the part where I make my steak/
In the world, the imprint of a pen/
My signature that writes on the stone tablet/

The stars smile when the sun cries/
The day ends in confusion from unspoken lines/
Places switched, meaning forgotten/
Days keep count of what has happened/
I’m branded for life, for the pain I caused you/
It hurts to see my words have no affect on you/
You try to leave me behind in vain/
Causing us both more pain/
Your words are my tools that are left wanting/
There’s a whole in my heart that leaves it haunting/
Wants and needs are replaced for/
Sighs and screams/
Every turn is a dead end in my dreams/
I watch you run towards the finish line/
But the one you reach for, is some other guy/
Your facade turns into a parade/
Its posted all over the world and leaves me dead/
The forbidden words ring in my ears/
Just to know that I caused you tears/
I brought you pain but you stayed the same/
Some time from then its a new game thats played/
You were the only one that trusted me with your heart/
Now, with all right, you deny me a new start/
Forgiveness is beyond all reason/
You fixed my mess by starting a new season/
Your voice has always been the angels singing/

I'm sorry for the way thing's have gone/
I'm sorry that I was holding on/
I'm sorry that you were not there/
I'm sorry for not having you here/
I pushed you away, when all you did was love/
You were always there to cheer me up/
I looked to you for the thing's I do/
But never was revealing the truth/
A smack in the face was how it came by/
When I was on my knees preventing the crime/
I admit, that I submit, I can't win/
But all negatives I'm resisting from with in/
I'm sorry for not seeing my heart/
Everything could have been different from the start/
Building momentum from what never happened/
From now on we will be happy/
I wanted to make a change to suite the promise/
Im not going back on my word after all this/
We are nearly there to the goal we set out for/
Nothing was supposed to be easy, that I understand/
You say'd you would be my Queen/
And that I was your King/
I made the change on my words to you/
I make no changes that you don't want me to/
I have honestly loved you for a very long time/
I've hated myself for ever making you cry/
I write this now, because you know how I feel/
Thank You, for showing that Love is Real/
Beyond the hours of a normal day/

You have an Angel made from my heart/
