What the Heck is This All About?

I've been writing songs, privately, for over 20 years. I actually have about 4 notebooks filled with songs and bits of songs and ideas for songs, and the occasional recipie for gazpacho.
As I have reached a level of relative success in my career, I have been digging back into those notebooks for the artistic and spiritual release they can provide. Plus, I've spent alot of time drunk, and when I'm drunk I want to play guitar, and the only songs I know are my own.
In any event, I have always been very shy about sharing this side of my personality. Not because of of a fear of rejection or anything - just because I really pretty much suck at singing and playing the guitar. But, here they are. Enjoy them, or not. But do take time to read the words - that is where the story lies.
