Protest music and protest song culture in America is a tradition that extends as far back as the American Revolution. Protest music was written by artists in response to specific historical events or circumstances and generally written for or about the common man.
Why is todays artists are so weak. Why doesn't the artists of today stand up for the rights of their fans who are facing different "Isms" in the news daily...
