Is Hip Hop Dead Or Are We Just Getting Old?

There are many artist like myself out there trying to break into an industry that doesn't want us. We are not wanted because we make good music. We don't have dances that go with every song, we don't have the most sensational chopped and screwed beat or hook, we aren't singing autotune songs. No, we are the ones who started spitin because we love it. The ones that are starting to sound like were bringing 98' back in the ears of all these children that don't even know who NAS is let alone Kane and Slick.
We do music with substance, concepts, and beats that match the mood of what we are saying, We are still networking and asking other artist to sing on our songs instead of computer renditions of ourselves. We keep Hip Hop Alive! Then again some say we are the ones holding the art-form back, they say, we are tradionalist, that we are now where our parents were and just can't understand the children now a day. You tell me which it is!
