n-Track Recording Contest Official Rules
Persons affiliated with n-Track are ineligible (e.g., "Employees, girlfriends, shareholders, officers, directors, secret agents, spies, representatives, and their immediate family members or pets are ineligible").
Inaudible, severely clipped, unintelligible, incomplete or complete moronic entries will be disqualified unless those features contribute to the artistic value of the piece.
Submissions of songs will be made via email to contest at ntrack.com. You may begin submitting songs on May 1st, 2008. Songs will be reviewed for content and posted to the category requested when you email your entry to SoundClick.com. Contest submissions are to be in mp3 format at a bit rate of 128. SoundClick will convert all mp3’s to that rate. (I know, we all hate ‘em.) Contest Voting at n-Track.com will begin August 1st and run through the entire month of August 2008.
Contest has three categories:
Original Songs
Cover tunes
Silly songs (Your version of Old McDonald, Mary Had A Little Lamb… you know, the classics.)
There is no limit on entries per contestant. Enter like you vote, early and often.
The music comes first, so in that spirit we are not requiring that all songs be recorded, mixed or tracked using a version of n-Track. We are requiring that all entrants register online at https://ntrack.com/mailinglist.php .
No cash or prize substitution is allowed except at the discretion of N-Track. If a prize cannot be awarded due to circumstances beyond the control of N-Track, a substitute prize of equal or greater retail value will be awarded.
All prizes will be awarded.
Prizes include but are not limited to.
One SoundClick one year VIP membership.
Three Full Downloads from n-Track.com of n-Track Studio ver. 6. (Three folks will win one each.)
One of 3 n-Track Studio ver. 6 Upgrades. (Three folks will win one each. Duh.)
One PSP MixPack2. https://www.pspaudioware.com/plugins/mix2.html
ManyStation from Manytone. https://www.manytone.com/manystation.html
ManyGuitar from Manytone. https://www.manytone.com/mgdescription.html
Winners will be selected from a combination of Votes received at the n-Track.com polling page and Charts position and number of plays at SoundClick.com. Final determination will be at the sole discretion of the Sponsor.
Winners will be notified by e-mail 2 weeks after contest end date.
By entering, participants agree to be bound by the Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor.
Taxes on prizes are the sole responsibility of each winner.
n-Track is not responsible for late, lost, delayed, damaged, misdirected, incomplete, illegible or unintelligible entries; telephone, electronic, hardware or software program, network, Internet or computer malfunctions, failures or difficulties; or the dog eating it, etc.
n-Track reserves the right to cancel the electronic method of entry to the Sweepstakes if it becomes technically corrupted.
Void where prohibited.
