Time really does fly… Actually it zooms. Ang dami nang nagbago. Technically we just started this band (the current line-up) last December of 2007. From that point ay sobrang dami na nang modifications na nangyari sa buhay namin. Akala namin imposible. We never realized na kakayanin ko pa after all the health crisis I’ve been through. Pero, I was mistaken; ang modus operandi pala to accomplish your goals in life is to just “take the risk and go on no matter what”. Living a life of an artist is a mix of privilege and obligation. Privilege dahil hindi lahat ay naachieve ang pagiging successful sa industry na ito; Obligation dahil we are compelled to stand and speak up for the cries of our generation and set an example to the youth culture. Isa sa mga major pagababago ng sensitivo ay ang type of music;. Dati kase for the sake lang na may magandang tunog (Walang kamatayang G-D-Em-C) at whatever na lyrics kahit parang puddle of water na ito sa kababawan ay maituturing na naming itong kanta. Ano ba genre namen ngayon? If truth be told, I really can’t say… halo talaga eh; one track is so different from the next track. And our music now tackles different aspects of our social and personal lives. Kumbaga sa pagkain eh may vitamins and nutrients na ang mga likha naming obra ngayon. Pero one thing is for sure… every word delivered and arrangement embedded in our songs attacks and will attack a part of our life, a part of your life. Our lives.
What are these experiences and changes that I’m disgorging out? Well, to cite some… heto: Nairecord at nairelease ang debut album namen entitiled “SENSITIVO:Isa’t Kalahating Araw” sa loob lang nang 8 months. More often than not ay it takes 2 to 3 years for a band to have their debut CD. Nobody could say na minadali ang album na ito dahil maganda ang quality ng sound. And it is released worldwide. Wala namang producer na magsusugal ng malaking pera para makapag-release ng isang project para sa isang low-class na talento. At oo nga pala, may pirated copy na rin ang album namin… we’ll just consider it as an achievement… an inevitable part of the “getting-known” stage. Haha.
And oh God we are so blessed. Our debut album was engineered by Sir Angee Rozul. Hanep! Ang lupit ng timpla ng mga kanta sa album. Marami nag-akala na foreign lalo na yung sa song na “Life”. Kung tunay na musikero at rakista kayo ay kilala niyo si Sir Angee at di ko na kelangan idetalye kung sino siya at ang mga ginawa niya sa music industry. Magsabi kayo nang kahit anong album ng banda na idol niyo, for sure ay may fingerprint niyan si Sir Angee. We have 2 radio singles na sa ngayon namely “Life” and “Isa’t Kalahating araw”. Salamat nga pala sa mga bumoboto at nagrerequest ng mag kanta namen. Much thanx also to the radio stations who plays our songs. At sa mga libo-libong downloaders (2,140 a month in estimation) ng mga kanta namin sa soundclick.com at limewire. Mabuhay kayo! (nag top 14 po tayo out of 170k+ songs sa alternative general genre ng soundclick. Top 1 ay maroon5). Sa mga viewers ng videos namin sa youtube salamat din. Sa ma nanunuod ng gigs at concerts namen salamat din. Kahit minsan may kamahalan ang tickets namin ay nandiyan kayo para makapagsama-sama tayong magwala, umislam, magpakasenti, at tangayin ng tunog. Tnx talaga. Sa mga event organizers maraming salamat din. Sa mga idol nameng banda na nakasama namin na mga astig pero down to earth tulad ng urbandub… salamat at tinatangkilik niyo kami kahit starters pa lng kami dito sa industriya. Sa mga pogi rockers naman na di namen sinsadyang masapawan… stay pogi always. haha. Peace out.
