While most rap artists glorify past gang relations and street credibility, Chronick chooses not to follow the traditional sound, and sets his goal of changing the perception of hip-hop music.
Wuzz upp everybody, This is Chronick officially. Ima explain some of my history here. I started doint music when i wuz 12 or 13, freestyling with some friends, or making beats in school w/e. Well i actually recorded my 1st real song when I was 15, it was a diss track called "Xclusive". From then on i decided that music was for me, being in a studio felt amazing, to actually hear myself on a track and sound as good as I did at the age of 15, I new this was my "thing". I have been in nurmous amounts of groups, and have dont ample amout of songs. A lot they u all will prolly never hear lol.
My full name is, Nicholas Michael Canterbury yup thats me. I grew up in Capitol Heights MD, born and raised. Growing up there is rough, it wasnt for me, because i new of alot of ppl there, and i guess u can say my family is well respected. But for the average person livind there would be rough. I went to Jame Maddision Middle school, and faild the 7th grade. Well we moved outta CH to a place in MD called Laurel (about 20 minutes from CH). I went to middle school there, and finally made it to high school, Laurel High. There was no problems for me there nether, I have always been looked at as a good friend from anyone so I dont get much sh*** from ppl.
We left laurel due to some huge family problems, something I wish not to talk about. We had actually moved to San Marcos, CA 3,000 miles away. Well i aint gonna lie Cali is pretty dope, its just that some ppl need to grow up a lil (but thats everywhere). Anyways, I went to Mission Hills High, were I met some of my best friends, real coo folk (no names u know who u are). Me and some of the boys create a group called "Guilty Consience", it was off the hook at the time, we got a lot of hype around school. Eventually we went our separate ways in music to do better things in our own "musical life".
Heres the ending of my bio lol. We moved back east but no to Maryland, the place we chose to live is Charlotte, NC where I have met some new tallent. I recreated the record label and Im calling it S.C.P. (be on the look out) . Anyways thats it hope u enjoy my music, I love the fans!!!
