The music Industry is tough!

I have learned a lot about the music industry and I will say, it is VERY expensive to get this career started! I have heard of people taking out 2nd mortgages on their homes, applying for bank loans, etc..My advice? It's a gamble and if you go into it knowing that, then it won't come as such a shock when you spend the money that you do only to get no where. This career choice takes A LOT of patience and you'll get a lot of rejection but that's just part of it. You have to have tough skin in this business. You have to watch out for you because no one else will. Protect your music and investment. Get everything in writing!!! Good luck to all who are pushing forward in their music!
