THE WAR HAS JUST BEGUN
Nov 11, 2007

Tears of fear have arisen
As we look up and there are no more twin towers in the sky.
Lots of grief has just begun
As the terrorism has been done…
The war has just begun
Fear is here, like it’s never been seen.
As the plane hit, we looked for a friend nearby to lean.
The war has just begun
The heroes in our eyes are the firefighters who gave up their lives
Along with the citizens in the towers, who didn’t get their final goodbyes.
The war has just begun
As the buildings crashed and fell down to the ground,
It was hard for a life to be found.
As we watched our hearts began to pound.
As we looked and looked for Bin Laden to hound,
We pray in our hearts more victims will be found.
The war has just begun
So many people gone,
In our hearts we are torn.
So we go to God to help us mourn.
Everyday a new creature is born,
but why today did so many people have to be gone
The war has just begun
In our hearts we sing a song,
Praying that this war won’t be too long,
And leaving them knowing what they did was wrong.
The war has just begun
This is like Pearl Harbor,
But Bin Laden took it further, and interrupted lives
Why did he even have to bother?
What makes it even harder
So many people have lost a father
The war has just begun.
As we go to strike back
We think of all the firefighters we lack
They all ran into the Twin Towers as a pack.
Willing to save lives, without even looking back.
The war has just begun

MY DREAM

MY DREAM
A girl with a dream is all I appear to be.
Consumed to this dream, and how I yearn to succeed.
Spellbound by the worldly clolut that ultimately turns me into a statistic.
Penetrating for a reason, and an ultimate implication in this human race.
But most significantly looking to our father, tolerantly waiting as I receive his grace.
With his stamped approval, and amorous nature,
I illustrate only to humanity a jovial face.
A girl with a dream is all I appear to be.
Fortitude is not my virtue; it's rather what I would be fond pf working on.
I discern dreams can't be hasty, but I do dream immense.
Stretching out my diminutive and protracted terms
To attain a definitive goal, that reaps its rewards.
For the reason I desire to be victorious, but have a proper substance.
Overflowing with morals, and beliefs that my offspring can gaze towards.
A girl with a dream is all I appear to be.
Pointed towards a profession I can make my own
But, the only way my vision become factual
Is through an assessment from educators
Whom I place highly elevated on thrones.
A girl with a dream is all I appear to be.

IN MY DREAM
Nov 9, 2007

I had a about this girl…
In my dream this girl was so full of life
She had a smile that could light up a room.
This girl could laugh, this girl could cry, this girl could love.
Love hard….
So hard…….
She just wanted to be loved.
.
She was so determined to live her life like nothing was wrong.
Her life was a sad sad song
Her life gave people hope
She gave people new meaning.
She struggled so much to be the person we all know and love today.
Through all her quarrels she gained her respect
She tried to fight every battle, except her own.
She didn't care what anyone thought, she just lived her life.
She lived it hard, and good
Never wanting to be treated any different
In my dream she was invincible.
In my dream all she did was constantly prove her self.
In my dream she beat this obstacle.
In my dream, I saw her smile again.
In my dream, I held her and never let go.
In my dream there was no more pain.
In my dream there were no more whispers.
Then my dream ended, and I woke up, and the whispers were still there.
But, yet and still her spirit surrounded me, and filled me.
The whispers were still there, but I just couldn't hear them anymore
She was at peace.
All she wanted to do was love.
And in the end, as she laid motionless, without any movement.
Her spirit reached out into the sky
For a love that could not be seen.
Her life was a true journey…and touched so many hearts along the way
She was giving, but more often you'll find her hand out, more than your own.
But, yet and still with a smile on her face
You couldn't tell her anything.
The day God took her away from our family and all her friends was a tragic day.
But, all and all it was God's plan.
He brought Brittany into our lives to take in all the love she had to offer.
So, now it's time to open our eyes and see the big picture.
Tomorrow is never promised
It doesn't mean we should live life in sorrow
But, instead be more determined to have a brighter tomorrow.
In the end her departure mended a couple of hearts, and opened a few eyes.
Now, she's looking down on us in the heavenly skies…
Seeing us as we say our final goodbyes

LOVE 2 M3
Nov 9, 2007
Can't be described, it can only be felt.
It's that sudden feeling of goose bumps.
That sudden chill that consumes you
It's that lost of breathe.
It's that ache in your heart
With that sudden feeling of emptiness, when there not near.
It's that fast beat that fills your chest
With the sweaty palms, that is moist to their touch.
It's that jittery feeling that you yourself can't explain
And the feeling of joy when you hear their name
Love to me….
Is that anxiousness you feel when they are near
And that safety in your heart, because with them there's nothing to fear.
That feeling of weakness that you wish they didn't have on you
But, happy because with them you are robust
You are most capable of anything and everything
And Love to me….
Brings out the best, not the worse.
