This is my first time ever "blogging", but I REALLY wanted to share with people some of the amazing secrets, tips, and knowledge I have learned in the many years I have spent making a living online and with my music. For example, here is a page I made on Facebook which leads people here to Soundclick if they want to listen to more of my music :

And in less than 30 days, my FB page (above) managed to gain over 3,500 "Fans" (or, "Likes")
I got these kind of results using a combination of different tactics. For example, you can create a Facebook ad for your Page, and if you advertise in Countries OTHER than the USA, you can manage to get "clicks" for as low as $0.02 cents per click (CPC) or, CPM (per 1,000 impressions).
Then, with a little trickery using one of Facebook's HTML iframe Apps, you can give people incentives to "Like" your page. This requires a little bit of HTML skills and knowledge.
Once you gain a good amount of "Fans", everything you post on your Page's Wall, also gets posted on all of your "Fans" Wall's where all of THEIR friends also see.
This is where you could actually make money promoting Affiliates relating to your Page's subject matter by posting Affiliate Links to your Wall a couple times per day.
Or, you could promote your own music, website, or product.

is actually a page which promotes one of my Online Botanical Websites. I pretty much did the same thing here that I did on my Music page.
I used to run ads on FB which led people DIRECTLY to my Online Botanical Website, but then I thought to myself, if I'm going to pay for clicks to get people to go to my website, why not create a FB "Page" about my website, and syphon that same traffic through it?
Which not only directs people to my website, but also collects "Likes" too. That way, I can start building a Fan Base in the "Gardening/Botanical" Category as well.
It's only been a few weeks since I started all this and already have had some pretty good success. Just imagine 5, 10, even 20 years from now, how many Fans I could have in different Categories at my fingertips that I could potentially make a fairly decent living off of. Whether it's promoting my own music and products, or Affiliate Marketing.
Another way I market my music here on Soundclick.com is with "Widgets" - I always embed a Song Widget on most of my pages and/or websites. For example, if you go to my website :

You will notice that on each page you go to on my website, a new Song will start playing automatically via one of Soundclicks Song Widgets. So not only does my music get heard and promoted, but people get something to listen to while they shop.
Every time a song plays from a Widget, it counts as a Play on Soundclick too so it boosts my Chart positions like crazy. You'll notice that over half my songs have been in the top 100 and many have been in the top ten position on a consistent basis. Take a look at my Music page here on Soundclick.com :
