Hello there, little ones. Sorry, that was a bit rude.
This is my first blog post on Soundclick. I'm sort of glad I'm able to do this now that the new album is underway so I can post info about it as it becomes more like an album and less like a Maxi Single.
The first track for the record is finished -- "Once Upon A Time" -- take a listen back on my music page. That is the final mix, after a lot of painstaking editing to get it just right. It's a beautiful arrangement of bright synths, distant piano, clear and present vocals, and a drumline that'll repeat in your head for hours.
I am so excited that this album will be the first that I will release completely online, and in no other format (at least for now). And yes, for those who are aware, I am following in Radiohead's footsteps for this record. Don't worry -- this'll be the norm in about 10 years from now.
Anyway -- enjoy the first single for now, and stay tuned for more in weeks to come.
