A day in the life of...

a temp... lying in bed this morning, having been playing on 2nd life till some ungodly hour, when the phone rang; it's my employment agency asking me to react to a rapid reponse. So here I am in Ludlow being a receptionist/telephonist for the rest of the week. this is a company I used to work in 30 yrs ago... yes I am that old...and it's great fun, honest. I don't actually have to get much in the way of work these days but I need to keep my old brain in good working order, so here I am.
It's now nearly 5.00 and I shall be switching the phones onto night service and vacating the building. It's been a nice day learning a new telephone system and chatting to customers both on the phone and face to face. One of my favourite things to do being a people person.
Ah well, here's my blog for today. Another will be on www.myspace.com/sallystamford this evening if i can prize myself away from 2nd life for just 5 mins.
