I remember in seconds, I remember with no time,
I remember nothing, and all is fine,
A stranger in my face,
A visitor in my mind,
A ghost in my closet,
But all is fine,
An unfamiliar picture,
With shadowy faces,
A voice in my head,
But its hard to place it,
Numbers are useless,
The clock is blind,
But twice a day my world is fine,
An hour then nothing,
A day that don’t stay,
Forgetting the comfort,
That never went away,
I hear it then see it,
I burn it inside,
I sketch a picture,
And all is fine
A second then nothing,
A blank comes this way,
I remember something,
Yes, its small,
A thought, an action,
My reasoning and all,
Something then nothing,
That nothing won’t stay,
But I hope to remember not to forget.
Someday.
