Let’s hear it for the ones who have given their all. These who have heard and answered the call. Don’t care about politics or views. Care about the one’s who have fought for you. Some give speeches but help no one. All they want is to have their fun. Those who start wars go on their way While brave men & women gave their lives. Stand up and Salute for all who fight. For our lives, our liberties, and all our rights. Don’t care about politics or political views. Care about the one’s who fought for you. Copyright © 2007 by Ellette
Who are you to say? All you do is turn away. You start a war But don’t consider the poor. The cost you never consider, On promises you never deliver. We pay the price for you pride We pay and pay while you get a free ride. But someday you will pay A higher judge you will face one day. You call for peace Then you destroy everything within you reach. You say freedom at all cost, Well, where is your loss. Our children cry out in pain, You are the one to blame. Blood runs in the streets, But you never miss a beat. You say, “More, more, more!” But who’s it really for? What have you given up anyway? In your ivory tower you stay. Enough, is enough, Don’t you feel all our disgust? No, you just turn and walk away, But you have a bill to settle someday. Copyright © 2007 by Ellette
