A Movie I won't forget

First let me thank Jeff , our son,for telling me to go and rent Facing The Giants!
I was having a bad day a few days ago and I was telling Jeff about it when he suggested this movie. Each day I have pain due to some medical problems I have. Some days I am brave and some days I am a whiner. I have other problems just like everyone else I realized after I watched this movie that I have let pain and worry interfer with certain aspects of my life. My neighbor has a pool and I love water yet I don't go over as I am afraid of falling because my knees are painful and give out easily.
When Jeff sggested the movie, he said, "Mom I want you and Dad to sit down and watch this show with no interruptions. Lock the dogs up and turn the phone off."
I went to BB and rented the movie and I have to say, I wasn't really excited about watching it because it's a football movie. I am not a fan of football and will do just about anything to avoid watching it. I put the movie back until today when things were quiet here. I grabbed Hubby and talked hin into watching it with me.
Normally, I watch the movie and Mike falls asleep about 10 minutes into it. Funny thing about today was the phone did not ring once and the dogs were just hanging around watching me alternate between laughter and tears, and they could not figure why Papa was not snoozin away over there.
I don't want to tell you anything about the movie other than it was awesome. I loved Field of Dreams and this movie simply blew Field of Dreams away.
If you have problems you are facing in life please rent this movie. If you have no cares whatsoever and you are just plain happy, please rent this movie. There is a message in it for everyone. Tonight I face the future with more hope and expectation than I have felt in years. Know why? I got the message!
So whatever you have planned for tomorrow or the next time you have a couple of free hours, put it on the back burner and rent Facing the Giants! You won't regret it and it might just change your life!
