A very important lesson I learned in life.

Last year I moved to Nashville, TN with my group because we had a record deal down there. When things fell apart, it was very hard for me to accept it, I couldn't understand why the record deal fell through, I really thought it was my time to shine. Now I know that it wasn't my time because it was not in The Lord's plan, its on HIS time, not mine. He makes things happen when he knows the time is right because he is The All-Knowing, things don't happen when I want them to because I don't run the show, I am just a servant to the Most Beneficial. Learning this important lesson brings me even closer to him and a one way trip to the Hereafter when this life is obsolete. I ain't gonna lie, I really considered giving up at first because I been doing this since 94 and I was so frustrated with people letting me down in this business plus I was way too hard on myself, hating who I seen in the mirror. But now I can see myself without being angry because the truth set me free from all the pain I went through and it made me stronger because I didn't allow it to end my career. But this is my salvation (under God of course) and I couldn't give this up, I've come too far. It hasn't been an easy road but The Almighty made it that way to build knowledge, strength, character and humility. All praise is due.
