RED WATCH READY!!! (READY IN 5)
The First ‘Wakie Wakie’ To the Tune of …
“The holy Grail” by the hunters and collectors
(as remembered by Silver 11 days later)
I woke up this morning from the strangest dream.
I was on the greatest tall-ship that Australia had ever seen.
We were sailing along on the road to Hobart town.
Added verse after the event:
Well have you heard about the Sydney to Hobart?
An event in which many would die to be apart
The infamous waters where storms abound everyday
All those would be heroes just trying to make their way
To Hobart Town
We were full of beans youth crew were dropping like flies
Chad’s home cooked meals were bursting out our sides
Then Ben turned to Chris and said nobody deserves to die.
All the youth crew were scattered
They were hiding down below
And together they were vomiting like a giant fire hose.
They were so far from home so how were they to know
There’d be nothing left to chunder when they stumbled into Hobart town
I've been looking for and easy wave
To escape this cold watery grave
I've been high and I've been low
But I've got no where else to go
There's no where else to go
I don’t know where I’m going but I do know where I’ve been
I woke up alone all my spew was clean. But I’m still here
I’m still headed for Hobart town.

Birthday Blues
Feb 21, 2008
Thanks for the Birthday wishes everyone I am 24 now and really it is just another day another week another year not much to say about it I had a house fire to deal with late last year and now I am studying again. I still love to listen to music I find here it is so very nice to listen to different kinds of music than what one hears all the time. Keep up the good songs for with out them what are we but lost?

2,6 Heave that bag out of the car and into the house. yes silver is home again and sad to have left the high seas of the straight 4 days of gale force winds was quite interesting for those few who where not head down in a sick bag or over the side. but for all of that we made it ashore in good time and some good friends too. I will update later. have fun! ~Silver~

Kit bag and Crew
Oct 7, 2007
A'hoy there mates! Silver here. I just got my Kit bag in the mail and handbook, read half of it with a short 13 days to go 'till I sail. Still a few things on that there list to buy and hopefuly make contact with some of me shipmates before then. Rather excited now to tell the trueth of it.
8 days to go and with some e-mails going back and forth and a couple of chitchats on MSN I am starting to meet some of the YC and I can tell this voyage will be a blast.
Good luck out there and be as safe as you can.
