SUMMARY 732 W. Fifth St. 1972. Lakeland Florida lives a young woman by the name of Ms. Jentia Montgomery with a little boy the age of six. Ms. Montgomery was a native of Lakeland and had some relation with her mother Mrs. Pearly Montgomery. Who love her little 6-year-old grandson James? Ms. Jentia had a man she had been seeing for sometime now. His name was Mr. Eddie Lee Thornton, a man who has a good paying job. And considering this is 1972 all was not good it was hard on single black mother. And sometime a woman has to make do to help make ends meet an Eddie was just that help. Jentia liked Eddie, but didn’t wont to make the same mistake she did in her last affair. Well one fairly warm but bristle evening during the month of October 1972 Ms. Jentia had a date out on the town with her lover Mr. Eddie, who had call her earlier form work too let her know he had gotten a promotion and that he would see her after work an to be ready to have a night out on the town. Jentia had finally thought that this would be evening of all things to come. For she had somewhat of thing for Eddie an though it was high time to let him really kwon how she felt about him in that special way. Well that Friday afternoon ever thing went as planed. And that night Jentia & Eddie had time too remember until the morning light. Finish their celebration with a second round of love that would make changes for the future and bring the struggle of new events that will change the destiny of all. For Ms. Jentia had made that error once again; this time she would not only be without a father image to her newborn, but also incinerate of her care for second son. THE STRUGGLLE FOR LIFE CHAPTER ONE Ms. Jentia was a sleep with her boyfriend, when she was all ready late for work and had been feeling quite sickly. For the past few months! This morning was much worse than the rest until the sounds of morning sickness filling the inside of the house with her morning tears. For she had awaking Eddie who said, what the matter babe. I could here all the way in the bedroom. You kwon that you are late for work again this better be serious you kwon I can’t afford too miss any more time myself. I’m pregnant and I need to be seen by a doctor so we can make plans for new born. New born you mean like a baby, yes .Jentia I told you, I didn’t need any kids right now. You don’t use protection what do you think could happen. Eddie you are going to be here for the baby and me isn’t you. I kwon their something we can do. Eddie you got to be crazy Pearlie Montgomery my mother found out I did something like that to one her grand babies I’ll be where them are at. You told me you love me & that you would be there for me. Now you’ll trying’ to say what! Jentia I’m not ready to have a family yet and I have tried to tell you that, I thought we agreed on those terms. Terms whose terms mines or yours, don’t won’t to; Jentia shut up! I’m let, as it is I’ll talk to you this afternoon. Oh! Now you don’t even kwon if you‘re coming back. Gone on to work Mr. Eddie Lee. I’m call in and go to the Health Department for a pregnancy test. Jentia I’ll tell you what you do. You call me when you find out what you’re going have done I told you I didn’t want kids. I’m gone work I’ll talk to you later. Ms. Jentia after get over her Monday morning sickness she called the Clinic to go in that morning for testes. She called the Plant an asked for the morning shift Supervisor. Mr. Anderson I call to let you kwon that I won’t beadle to make to work today. Mr. Anderson said you have missed quite a number of days all ready Ms. Jentia. And this could cause you to lose your job. I’ll cover for you too day, and you need to bring me a copy of the Doctor orders by tomorrow. I’ll see you in the morning Ms. Jentia.
