there's a stigma about being on soundclick that's rooted in some kind of truth. of the top hip-hop producers on here and former ones who had profiles, so many of them have a similar styles...styles that birthed a million and one copycats on here.
once you reach a certain level as a producer it's hard to fully break through and be a top tier industry producer when you have that stigma of being a "soundclick producer", mainly because of people who steal fruity loops one day and call themselves producers the next even though their shit is average...they saturate the game and the truly talented on here don't get their just due
i'm not talking like my shit is all that but i do put a lot of effort into sounding unique and not like this or that producer..the more we all focus on creativity and not just using this site like a hustle the better
