Profile
The art of noise
Tri Minh is a chameleon. As the hyperactive and imaginative 33-year-old jumps from project to project, his outward appearance transforms to fit his current endeavour.
With a boundless supply of energy and a pronounced lack of preciousness, Minh is pushing ahead with his plans, including an upcoming demo CD of minimalist compositions, the ongoing UN film project and, probably most importantly, a collaboration with his family. Perhaps someday soon, this self-styled chameleon will develop a profile that is sufficiently visible to suit his talents.
“Slowly my music is being recognised. And for me, that’s enough. I don’t need millions of people listening to me. I want to present ideas to the people.”
Film producer, talent scout, designer – sometimes it’s hard to pin Tri Minh down. But it’s as a musician that he hopes to make the most noise, as Dustin Roasa learns
