"SPACE IS THE PLACE Concert Series" Astreaux World presents... An Evening with JONN SERRIE "JOURNEY INTO THOUSAND STAR" Friday Evening October 22, 2010 - 7pm to 11pm Featuring the LIVE music of Jonn Serrie, world renowned ambient, space, new age, electronic composer and artist. Jonn has recorded at least eighteen albums and worked on various projects for Lucasfilm, IMAX, NASA, the United States Navy, Hayden Planetarium, Expo Seville, and CNN. Music from one of his albums was used in the hit Hollywood movie "What the Bleep Do Know?!". Jonn also scored the award winning IMAX short film "Galaxies Across Space and Time" as well as the popular astronomy software program "Starry Nights" and Space.com's "Eyes on Mars" DVD Also performing will be Dylan Patrick Smith - Deosil - providing a combination of electronic grooves, spatial ambience, meditation, live instruments and vocalizations. Deosil's music is a sonic journey that will surely be an engaging experience. We hope that you will spend an evening in good company, with wonderful music and travel with friends to where Jonn's music takes us in the heavens! To reach CAC, take I-264 East toward the oceanfront. Turn left at the first stoplight on to Parks Avenue. Proceed straight after the next stoplight. Directly ahead is the CAC parking lot. Admission: There are 268 seats available for this performance. Admission will be $10.00 per person for the concert. It is open seating and there are no obstructed views.
