Recent trip to Ireland

My wife Anne and I have just returned from a recent holiday in Ireland where we had a great night out at a local pub in Rathdowney, County Laois. My brother-in-law Mike managed to pursade the band to get me up for a couple of Neil Diamond songs which, to my delight, the crowd seemed to appreciate.
It has been almost 25 years since I had done my last real gig, and although the words ecaped me at times, it was great fun - Perhaps the 3 pints of Guinness helped.
It was rather strange to be singing without my guitar in hand, but the boys in the band did a great job!
