Melodious Rex
Some percussion loops that I'd made combined with other sounds run through Sonar's DropZone sampler. Vocal sounds are Acid Loops.
All sounds except percussion are from my Korg EX-800. Echo is from Sony DPS-V55 effects processor.
Sound Check. Reworked from previous track. Mid break is filler as this has a long way to go yet.
A blend of synth sweeps, sounds, voice samples, things sped up, slowed down, etc, all to a hard beat.
I was experimenting with a 1234 bass line, and it ended up sounding like video game music. So be it. Using Sonar sequencing a Roland M-VS1, M-BD1, and Yamaha TX802. Drums are loops.
Big drums, industrial bass line, and 80s voice samples give this an Art of Noise sound. Also, my first attempt at mastering after reading a book about it.
Short pieces I wrote in Locrian mode and put together. It sounds somewhere between Erik Satie and W.A. Mathieu. I wrote it on staffware with Anvil Studio and then sequenced the pieces to my Korg TR Rack.
Was it Marseilles? Sure, it was Milan, at the station. No? ... I had the basic song done a few days ago, but it was missing something. Then I downloaded the current AcidPlanet 8Pack, Xin Xov. That was it.
I got Sonar 8.5 for Christmas. Song is made using Sonar's Session Drummer 2 and Sonar's Arpeggiator.
Omotesando is a section of Tokyo near Harajuku. The song has a light feel and reminds me of Omotesando in the 80s.
To commemorate today's bombing of the moon - a gravity propelled deep probe actually - I wrote a spacey piece.
I wrote this short piece to display a few sounds from the Roland MKS-70 (everything except drums.)
Drums: Electronic (808) card in Roland R-8M. All other sounds: Yamaha TX802.
