My artist name is Mel O Dee. It's simple, and its my real name, Melody. Im not just like any other artist on here, i have a passion for music, its what i live, breathe, eat, and sleep. Music is something i can't live without!! I love making music, and yall gonna see me blowin up pretty soon lol. Anyway, about myself. 19 years of age, like to talk on the phone, eat, sleep haha.. SING of course, listen to up and coming artists on the brink...=) When i sing, it comes from the soul. Some ppl say that i sound like Jill Scott but i prefer to sound like myself.... I always keep GOD first, cuz without him, who knows where i'd be!

I would like to in the future, but i got to get myself ready for that first. I sing in church, and some talent shows, but thats about it.

Hmm...i love that real exquisite hip hop like The Roots, Common, A tribe called quest MF Doom, J. Dilla, Mad Lib...those artists inspire me and make me wana do music even more. Neo Soul like Erykah Badu,...reall laid back i like her individuality, she inspires me also. Musiq Soulchild, Muhsinah, Janelle Monae, Tawiah...Jill Scott...
