I have been making beats for a few years, but in the past year Ive been finally getting all the bugs out.

What equipment do you use?
MPC 2000xl, Reason 3.0, Sonar Producers Edition 4.0, 2 M-Audio Delta 1010lt cards, 16 track mixer, outboard rack gear, many vst plugins.
Anything else?
I am looking for rappers in Chicago and the surrounding suburbs to get down and make some music. I would also send tracks to people who dont live out here and would expect them to lay some vocals down and to send it back for the final mixdown, but of course they would need to buy the beats first. I am a certified Sound Engineer, so mixing the songs down wont be a problem.
