I think most singer-songwriters or musicians who love what they do have experienced being in that magical place of utter contentment while performing; some call it being in the zone, while others call it being home...or maybe that's just me. I first felt that while playing at a little student folk club in England. Some time later I wrote my own songs and performed them at wonderful venues such as NoBlackTie, Actor's Studio Bangsar, and KLPac in Kuala Lumpur, Acoustic Routes in Cambridge, UK, and The Esplanade in Singapore. I met amazing musicians and singer-songwriters along the way who inspired me to explore my songs further. 'Feels Like Falling' was recorded in 2003, and went on to win the top download award on musiccanteen.com, 2005. You can still hear the full verson there, but I've put up the stripped down version here which I quite like. 'Do you see me like you' was written for an award winning documentary called Alice Lives Here (Freedom Film Fest, KL, 2005).Band/artist history

Where do I start...first off, I'm jealous :)
The fingerpicking is so clean and beautiful along with such a calming perfect pitch voice that the power of the words almost slip by. I would like to see that documentary. I think your song could fit into many movies/documentaries. It has a real gentleness to it. My only gripe would be that it ended too soon; so I put in my own cello solo at the end. ;)
