Born 6/01/82 at 5:55P.M. Miami Beach, FL Mechanical Fury (Damian C.) East Hialeah is the home of the mastermind behind the progressive experimental intelligent industrial trip hop dark drum n bass artist, Mechanical Fury.... In a long distant past Damian C. has ventured the minds of other geniuses to fused together his ideal style of music and influences. Venturing amongst every genre of music he discovered an appealing sound to form together not only to express himself through music but to tell a story with hint of personal experiences and the views that are trapped within his subcounious mind. Music not only being his only form of inspiration but also the subject of thinking "outside of the box". Fusing many themes including controversial subjects without any limitations of expressing the subcounious mind, Damian C. continues on his journey to evolve electronic music fusing all the sections of his mastermind.
Band/artist history
Well beleive it or not it goes back to when I used to be a bass player and that was back when three piece bands were everything. I started playing music with the desire of being a grunge star (minus the heroin of course). When I can remember back I heard Nine Inch Nails, The Dowanward Spiral. I was shocked and felt things I had never felt before. Samples of women screaming and crying and shit and sick aggressive bass lines and keyboard lines. I was like.... "What the fuck is this?" Later on in the 7th Grade I labeled myself an industrialist still playing bass hoping to still remain in my really small budgeted band with my two best friends from next door at the time. As days went by I heard other genres of music. I even fell into the hardcore scene trend at some point and when I mean hardcore I don't mean bullshit Mudvayne or anything like that. I'm talking like fucking Earth Crisis and Strife and Integrity. Beleive it or not that was introduced to me by listening to ATR (Atari Teenage Riot) Digital Hardcore. While everyone was listening to trance and getting loaded up on XTC, I was listening to digital hardcore. I was playing with Rebirth on and off and playing bass on and off. I even did hardcore vocals with a hardcore/rapcore band that didn't go anywhere (not even local shows, just school shows) I played bass live in a band for one of my high school shows as well. It was no big deal though. The only thing that struck a light in my head about the social life and music industry and being in a band is that.. the more people you have involved the more problems and I wanted less problems... the least possible. That's when I decided to get back on my Roland Groovebox 303 and start making industrial music. Mind you people were still getting loaded on XTC and going to retarded trance parties. I was a closed minded figure at some point about music but I did have a strong mind when it came to the music I already liked. Yes I loved hip-hop and music that you thought someone that didn't listen to industrial music liked. I shocked people with my musical taste, in fact... people always told me I was open minded about music, but what they didn't know was I still hadn't discovered my peak in musical taste.
Later I discovered drum n bass after getting my head out of my ass and knowing the different between happy electronic trance music and evil sounding drum n bass and again I was in love. I was in a long pause for a moment and I didn't so anything with music and decided I was going to write novels instead, but after having a conversation with Oznie (Local North Miami Beach IDM Artist) I was well convinced that music had to be something I had to continue doing. I took many methods of gaining inspiration from year 2002 till even now. Influences that were real life, from paranormal books, from psycholgical movies, from listening to various progressive bands and artists, and developed many subcounious events that I wanted to express somehow through my music...
The main source of my music comes directly from my subcouniousness.... built little by little piece by piece through the years.
That's the history and this is only the beginning...

Also, your life is not endless and in a world where so many humans fuse together balances are made. Balances of good and evil, love and hate. We're all seperated one way or another...
You only have one life to live and the way us humans fuse, there's also a war....
