Mecca Tracks is a production company founded in 1998 that specializes in Hip Hop, R&B and Film Composition with a focus on originality.
The company prides its self on no sampling. I try to do my best every project to cultivate what the Creator gave me which is the Creative Force, Although I am inspired by the ones who I consider the Greats who came before us, I try to channel their inspiration into bringing something new and I try to applied it to the genre of what Im doing, and in the time frame or the era of the music. To me, the greatest gift we can give and receive as artists, musicians, composers and producers to and from humanity is the gift of Inspiration

Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Cinematicfirst pursued his Recording Engineering studies at the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences, earning him a master recording diploma, and a job as an assistant engineer at a world class recording facility in Phoenix Arizona where he assisted on projects for Sister Sledge, Chronic Future, the Phunk Junkeez and the Multi-Platinum Producer/Engineer/Mixer- Jay Lean to name a few.
After a brief hiatus from recording, He then attended the prestigious Full Sail Real World Education for the recording arts in Winter Park, Florida where he received an Associate of Science Degree in Recording Arts. His showing of dedication and love for the art form when he participated in a student production notably earned him a Course Directors Award in Audio Post Production for his role in displaying a winning attitude and outstanding work ethic.
During his tenure in Florida, Cinematic was privileged to Engineer Protools TDM sessions at the personal studio of Thomas McClary of the Multi-Platinum Group The Commodores including producing the titled soundtrack to a straight to video project entitled New Destiny Lady in 2001. The Cinematic Experience goes beyond Hip Hop. In 2002 his composing duties were called on to Score the film short Look Again! a film short about the historcal event, the Million Man March, in the directorial debut of Abdullah Yasin Muhammad that was featured at the San Francisco Black Film Festival.
In an expanded role to learn more about the creative process outside of music, He landed an Internship with Core Digital Technologies, a company that specializes in Mobile Broadcasting for Networks such as CNN, NBC and ABC. There he learned and assisted in the building of a High Definition Broadcast truck that was used to broadcast the 2002 Academy Awards and the 2002 NCAA Final Four in High Definition.
In the May/June issue of a local Arizona Hip Hop Magazine The Pub in a review of a local project (under former name of Big Mike) included him as One of the Valleys Best Producers for Hip-Hop.
In March 2003, Cinematic was approached by Elektra regarding his production services and currently is producing tracks for JT the Bigga Figga, a West Coast Rap Artist whose worked with Daz of the Dogg Pound, Juvenile, Jay Z, E-40 and Master P to name a few.

Your musical influences
First and foremost, the Creator. 2nd, I'm inspired by alot of film composers such as, Alan Silvestri(Preadator 2) Jerry Goldsmith(what lies beneath) Michael Kamen(Die Hard) and James Newton Howard (The Sixth Sense). a few others would be, Earth Wind and Fire, and Dr. Dre.
What equipment do you use?
In regards to Hip-Hop, I use the Triton Studio, Motif 6, Mo'Phatt, MPC-2000Xl(for drums only) Korg X3, Reality 1.56 and Protools.
