I am MC Poncho. I am a whiteboy rapper from San Antonio, Texas, and I have a humongous red afro. I rap. I like to think I rap well. I also like to lie to myself.

Band/artist history
I was at camp one year, and a guy in my dorm was the worst rapper I've ever heard. I vowed to become a good rapper simply to balance out the world. I practiced nonstop since that moment, and a year and a half later, here I am. I started actually recording stuff in December of 2003, and joined the Frontalittle Squad (http://frontalittle.songhole.org) in January of 2004.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
The only time I've performed live is at Songfight Live in Austin. It was fun, if disorganized.
Your musical influences
My two biggest influences are Canibus and MC Paul Barman. My musical tastes are all over, though, and that also shows.
What equipment do you use?
I use a Behringer mic and my G5 with soundtrack and pro tools. Oh, and my lungs/voice box/mouth.
